Let me re-phrase that, because we do in fact still have Harmison at arms length. The comparison to Harmison is a little weak because he hasn't been the same for some time, since 2005 I think a pacey over from Leatherdale and Austin would leave me stains in my jock-strap, but, Symonds is a man that will scare any england bowler. An excited and fresh Swann, however well he has been bowling at the a second/third/fouth rate West Indies B squad would cake himself staring at the daunting figure of Symonds from 22 short yrds! The threat of the classic Aussie sides was their ability to intimidate players, can Macdonald and Watson do that?! How can you leave a man out of such huge talent?
