The end is nigh

13 minutes after lunch sees the end of a superb innings from Swann. He finished on 62, one short of his Test best, which came against the West Indies at Lord’s in May earlier this year.

A debatable decision, it is unclear whether the ball hit the bat before it carried through to Haddin of Johnson’s bowling. Johnson is now on 4 for 69, with one wicket left up for grabs.

It is now a question of how long Harmison and Onions can hang around.
