Based on the Yorkshire County Cricket Club team, our estimating competition asks you to guess the number of runs Yorkshire will make during each one-day match this summer (Friends Provident/Pro40/Twenty20) and gives you a score based on how close you were!
By making a guess, you’ll find yourself posted on the SPIN SCORE league table. Keep guessing the scores as the season continues and make sure that you beat your friends and family at cricket’s newest game! You can even set up personal leagues so that you can be sure to prove yourself amongst your relatives and workmates.
If you guess the exact number of runs for an individual one-day match correctly, you’ll win a three month subscription to SPIN!
If you’re a right clever-clogs, and you also guess the top-scorer in that match, you’ll win the top one-day prize of a one year subscription to SPIN, a wooden Owzthat! set, the International Cricket Captain III PC Game, the Playfair Cricket Annual 2008 and a SPIN match-pack (sun lotion, drinks bottle and cap) worth over £90 altogether.
When the season finishes on September 21st, the person at the top of the league will win a 2009 membership to Yorkshire County Cricket Club itself (Option 4 - All Yorkshire Cricket Membership - The highest level for the complete Yorkshire cricket fanatic allowing access to all Yorkshire home fixtures in the County Championship, One Day knock-out competition, Twenty20 Cup and the Pro40 League at both Headingley Carnegie and Scarborough, plus priority and discounted booking for international matches at Headingley Carnegie).
